After all, asset management has also been an active and very intense discussion among the National Road Authorities in Poland. The Polish Road Congress has already organized numerous regional conferences, for example in Warmia and Masuria as well as in Silesia, with the focus on the topic Asset Management. The Polish Road Congress is a strategic partner of the Infrastructure Asset Management Academy (INFRAMA) and is also currently setting up a "Working Group Asset Management".

The road forum in Gdynia was attended by representatives of the Directorate-General for country roads and highways, as well as concessionaires and companies with a focus on the construction and maintenance of roads. Dr. Slawomir Heller also gave a lecture on Asset Management and the challenges of European roads in the 21st century. On the second day, he also chaired the panel discussion on the advantages and disadvantages of the new forms of road management. This was attended by the senior directors of National Road Authorities in Poland (GDDKiA) and representatives of concessionaires.
