The Infrastructure Asset Management Academy (INFRAMA) was founded in 2017 by HELLER Ingenieurgesellschaft together with the Warsaw University of Technology and the IKKU training institute in Poland. The Polish Road Congress – the equivalent of the German FGSV – is the strategic partner of INFRAMA. Several renowned professional journals took over the media patronage.

INFRAMA was founded to disseminate Asset Management and to transfer the procedures and methods of this new discipline to the road infrastructure.

This time, the event was dedicated to the essentials of Asset Management. Dr. Slawomir Heller and Tomasz Wojsz, CEO of Heller Consult in Warsaw, presented the following topics: Asset Management System, Asset Management Plan, Life-Cycle-Analyses and Maintenance Planning as well as Key Performance Indicators. The participants showed particular interest in risk management in the road sector. Therefore, further events and training sessions are planned specifically on this topic.

The Marshal of the Voivodship of Ermland-Masuren took over the patronage of the INFRAMA event and provided the Parliament's premises. Marcin Kuchcinski, board member of the voivodship and responsible for the infrastructure, opened the event.

The next INFRAMA event is already planned for April 2018, this time in Rzeszów, Poland.
