NEXUS powered by HELLER

HELLER visits NEXUS's new corporate headquarters in Kuwait City and Dubai and commissions the new pavement management system "NEXUS powered by HELLER."

Dubai

The company NEXUS, headquartered in Kuwait City and Dubai, provides state-of-the-art solutions for the condition assessment and evaluation of roads, development areas, and pipelines across the GCC states. For digital condition assessment and pavement management, NEXUS relies on the IT solutions developed by HELLER. The GCC states include Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates — countries where road infrastructure is currently undergoing extensive expansion and modernization.

Over the past several months, the owners and managing directors of NEXUS visited HELLER in Darmstadt on multiple occasions to discuss practical approaches for modern asset management together with their German counterparts. In return, the HELLER team recently traveled to the new NEXUS headquarters in Kuwait City and Dubai to further strengthen the cooperation.

A key focus of the partnership is holistic condition assessment. In addition to capturing visible surface conditions, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) technology is also being used to create three-dimensional mappings of the road structure beneath the surface and to identify potential damage patterns.

Both partners are convinced that combining NEXUS’s cutting-edge data acquisition technologies with the web-based asset management system developed by HELLER will open up a new dimension in pavement management.

The agreements establishing the strategic partnership were already concluded in spring 2024. The first joint projects in Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates are currently being implemented.
