International meeting at HELLER

On April 8, 2019, HELLER Ingenieurgesellschaft welcomed top experts in road engineering from the USA, Switzerland and Germany. The guests were Prof. Gerardo Flintsch from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Dr. Frank Schiffmann from the Swiss Infrastructure Management Consultants GmbH and Prof. Dr. J. Stefan Bald and Tim Blumenfeld from Darmstadt Technical University.

The experts discussed current research projects and the future of pavement management systems. Prof. Flintsch was impressed by the possibilities of a systematic condition survey, as is carried out every four years in Germany. Henning Balck, CEO of HELLER Ingenieurgesellschaft, considers this to be a great opportunity for international cooperation.
