OnKo3 in use throughout the state of Lower Saxony

The online information system OnKo has been used by the state authority for road construction and traffic in Lower Saxony since 2010. Currently, around 300 employees use the system for planning maintenance measures and operational activities. Henning Balck, CEO of HELLER Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, introduced the users to the advanced functions of the new OnKo3 version with a seminar which was held from March 5th to 8th 2018.

The new version provides access to the condition data of the federal motorways and highways, state roads and roadside cycle paths and offers a lot of new functions. "For the first time, planners can also access data from past campaigns and take account of the change in condition when making decisions", says Henning Balck, who is very positive about the training course.

The participants of the four-day seminar responded positively to the new functions as well. They highlighted that the web interface can be operated intuitively and the new modules and functions are optimal for the planning.
