Successful employees

Magda Dziubaltowska and Marcin Szyzsko faced their exam already in May this year. Both were student trainees at HELLER Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH and HELLER Consult Sp. Z.o.o. during their bachelor studies. In August 2015, they started to work as project engineers at HELLER in Darmstadt and finalized their dissertation for the master degree in civil engineering. Magda Dziubaltowska detected Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Poland in her Master thesis. With this a comparison of the individual voivodship was possible at a later stage. Further to this she was working on a sustainment programme for Silesia with the company own application programme hiEMS, to built up a base for an efficient planning of activities for the sustainment of streets. The Master thesis of Marcin Szyszko covered the numerical modeling of cement and analyses, how much energy is necessary to create disruption in the cement. Each year an independent jury, formed with academic staff of the university and companies as well as organisations, review the Bachelor and Master dissertations, to decide which one will be honored in the different categories. The Bachelor thesis of Marcin Szyszko was already honored in the past, as well as his today his Master thesis together with eleven others. The award is also combined with a prize money. At the Bachelor exam celebration of this years class on October 3rd in Warsaw, Marcin Syzszko received a certificate for the best Master thesis in his area of expertise.
Klaudia Piekielniak goes through a trainee at HELLER in Darmstadt since June 2016 to deepen her technical knowledge. For her exam end of September she was travelling back to Rzeszow (Poland) for a few days and convinced with her expertise. Part of her exam were questions about Pavement Management Systems (PMS) and the young engineer was able to answer those questions perfectly. Finally, she brought her Maser exam back to Germany.

Now, the team is looking forward to the next good news: Christopher Grund, student trainee at HELLER in Darmstadt, was propsed by his professor at the Technical Universty in Darmstadt to the „Implenia Award“ with his Bachelor thesis „Enhancement of Building Information Modeling (BIM) with ecological characteristics material“. He will present his thesis on November 10th to 11th in Berlin (Germany). After this he hast o wait for the final decision who will be the winner of the award in his category. The colleagues in Darmstadt keeping their fingers crossed.
